So whether you want to play a round of golf in Moab, take a boat tour of Lake Powell or spend the day skiing or shopping in Aspen they have the expertise to make your trip safe, fun and exciting.

The plane can fit up to three passengers. Off airport landing is possible and you can even determine the route!

Ice Climbing

There is nothing quite like climbing a frozen waterfall. It’s certainly one of the most fantastic winter adventures in the San Juan Mountains! Using ice axes, crampons, helmets and harnesses, you will have the chance to scale Telluride’s most exquisite ice in some of our region’s most beautiful settings.

All of the ice climbing outings include professional guiding/instruction never to exceed a 4:1 ratio. You’re also supplied with all the needed technical ice climbing equipment, transportation, other equipment that may be needed and a complimentary digital photo service is supplied on the trips.

Ice Skating

Telluride has two wonderful Ice Skating rinks to skate on. One is located in the center of Mountain Village just a few steps from Lumière and offers endless family-friendly fun. Teach the little ones to skate, take a spin around the rink with your loved one, or sit back on one of the couches that line the rink and kick your feet up. Alternatively you can choose to skate in Telluride Town Park with locals & visitors alike.

Sledding

If you’ve been reluctant to book a ski vacation for your family because not everyone knows how to ski, because you’re not sure what the weather will be like, or because you’re worried that your kids won’t want to spend all day, every day of your holiday downhill skiing or snowboarding, you’re in luck. Telluride offers an abundance of outdoor winter activities to choose from. Sledding on firecracker hill is a local’s favorite and located at the south end of Town Park. Just let our team know you would like to go sledding and we can arrange the sleds for you.

Nordic Skiing

Telluride Nordic Center in Town park rents sleds, ice skating and cross country skis. Fill your day with plenty of outdoor fun. Just outside the doors of the Nordic Center you will find three kilometers of immaculately groomed trail winding through Town Park. There is then a six kilometer groomed trail that winds along the breathtaking valley floor with views of the surrounding peaks. Fat Bike

The latest way to play with two wheels on snow! Fat biking is a super fun activity recently introduced and offers the fitness enthusiast a great cardio workout. A newish development in mountain biking technology, a sport that expands regular 2- to 2.25-inch tires to a large, cushy, cruising 4-5 inches and allows you to ride on the incredible mountain bike trails in the winter.

Snowshoeing

There is no better way to experience the serene winter beauty of the San Juan Mountains than with a pair of snowshoes strapped to your feet. You will frolic in fresh Colorado powder while learning about Telluride’s unique natural history from expert guides. Take a hike for a few hours, a full day or a multi-day hut trip!

Snow biking

Snow biking is a mix of downhill skiing and mountain biking. If you can ride a bike then you can ski bike! Enjoy seeing the mountain from a totally different viewpoint.

Heli-Skiing

The ultimate skiing or snowboarding experience is without doubt heli-skiing. Explore parts of the San Juan Mountains very few have travelled before, making fresh tracks.
A helicopter is the best ski lift you could wish for!

Fly Fishing

Winter fly fishing in Telluride is one of the best-kept secrets in Colorado. Everyone needs a day off from the slopes, and you’ll find excellent winter fly fishing on the Uncompahgre, San Miguel and Gunnison Rivers.
